FAMANTY is the first global platform connecting people with local food producers and farmers.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful mission: to make fresh, healthy, and locally grown fruits and vegetables accessible to everyone. Our family has always believed that eating well is the foundation of a happy and fulfilling life.
We are family with two children. I work in telecommunications field, and my partner in life works in the state administration. We have two lovely kids, a 5 year old daughter, and a 2 year old son. Everyday difficulties and challenges connected to finding pure food for our family got us thinking, what can we do to ensure adequate food for our children.

We started with the idea that the most suitable food that meets our requirements is the one that is produced closest to us. Here we faced the next problem, that we did not know where to go and from whom to purchase such food. After a lot of serious research, we reached out to people who grow their own food, and indeed the difference in quality and cost of food products was palpable. Realizing that there has always been quality food close to us without even suspecting it, I thought that even on the trips we have taken with my family, it has been possible to try local and new products even in other countries, as long as we know what we are looking for and where to go.
On the other hand, by reaching the small producers, we saw their problems related to the realization of the production, for which they have put so much effort. The importation of low-quality and cheap food, the additional mark-ups of resellers either made them sell at prices close to the cost of the products, or made their production unsaleable. All this led them to the edge of survival, and in the near future the most likely scenario is that more and more small and medium-sized farmers will go bankrupt. Seeing their problems we could not remain indifferent or at least we were obliged to try to help them. The surveys we had done, showed us that more and more people are looking for clean and quality food, as close as possible to them. Despite the busy daily life, people are ready to take their time to get quality food This gap between consumers and small and medium producers led us to create the bridge to connect them in an easy and accessible way. Thus was born the idea of FAMANTY, a platform that we accepted as a personal cause.

The logo we have chosen is an ancient symbol that symbolizes hand in hand together It is these meanings and symbols that encompass the ideology and goals we strive to achieve in order to have a healthier future.
